To catch you a horse: you should never pursue it,
It thinks you are scared, and will thus misconstrue it;
Lest you've spied a monster, or witnessed disaster,
It won't hang around, and its speed is far faster.

So here's the solution, wich isn't injurious:
Pretend to be busy, the beast will get curious,
Move slowly away, you are sure to be follered,
And saving much effort, the beast will be collared.

Indifference, you see, means you capture that brute.
Analogous too is that other pursuit,
Of happiness which far more swift will retreat,
But seek not and joy you may soon swiftly meet.

more harmless nonsense.
