Here's me and my fav'rite dunb blonde,
Of whom I'm amazingly fond,
Though leads she old Ogg
Through the muddiest bog,
To swim in the local duck pond.

And here is my beautiful daughter;
Though hairier p'raps than she oughta
She's really no bother,
Looks just like her mother
Did when I started to court her.

My daughter is named Clin, adopted at a price of $40 a year, which allows unlimited admission to her home, Monkey World in Dorset, UK. A ex-laboratory chimp from France. She arrived at the park on 24/04/90 and we estimate that she was born during 1981. "Clin" is brown in colour, has prominent eyebrows, and is blind in her right eye. The three lab chimps were captured in the Congo region of Africa and their eyebrows and lanky bodies are typical of this region. "Clin" is a high ranking female in the group even though she is one of the smallest adult females. No one dares to get on the vrong side of her, particularly at feeding time when "Clin" collects as much food as possible into a pile for herself. Nobody dares to steal from "Clin's pile! When rescued she was very under-nourished and could hardly walk. Her two fellow rescuees, Cathy and Grisby are also at Monkey World.

A few words from my daughter

And here at last is Clin's daughter Johnni. She was unplanned - the chimps have been fitted with contraceptive implants, but the little devils pull them out! A programme of fitting IUDs is now under way. The name Johnni was the park owner's idea of a joke - if the father had been wearing one, she wouldn't be here.

Now I've a new beast. For all the details of its acquisition
